All Stitched Up By Angela

I have been sewing since I was six years old. I’ve always loved to do crafts and enjoyed teaching and sharing my passion with others. When I was thirteen years old, I taught my mom to sew, she is the person on the left in the photo. It was wonderful to be able to work on crafts and sew together with my mother. Eventually we both were hired at a local fabric store and were able to work together for several years.

My mom passed away from breast cancer in 2007 and sewing has become a therapy for me to deal with her loss. I love going into my fabric room and sewing. The colors and textures of the material evoke many wonderful and comforting memories of time spend with my mom.

I started All Stitched Up as a way to share my love for sewing and quilting with others and to keep the memory of my mother alive in my heart.

Babymoon

Sheila Ryan

Read Bio

Babymoon Boutique was inspired after my fifth baby was born when I decided I wanted to open my own business. Previously I had been working for a local boutique, truly testing the limits of my sewing skills, and I knew then I was ready to branch out on my own!  Designs by Babymoon is the logical path that my sewing journey has lead me on, as I continue to harness emboidery machines and computer software to bring you beautiful and useful designs that bring you joy!

A babymoon is that sweet time when a mother, and family, welcomes the newest little addition to their home. It is a time of gentleness, reflection, love and peace, and it is these qualities I strive to incorporate in all of my products. The time with a newborn is so very precious and short, but so incredibly powerful in the life and growth of a new mother. Supporting new moms is one of my dear passions in real life, and the bonds I’ve made with dear friends through my former work with la leche leage will last forever.

As a business, I focus on making beautiful products that truly have a family vibe for all life stages. Many of my customers appreciate that like them, I am working at home, with a handful of children underfoot doing everything I can to support my family and set a good example. My job is to maintain personal integrity, excellence in my business services, and a fantastic product at all times.

While I am the owner, operator and artisan behind Designs by Babymoon, I am proud to say I’m fully supported by my husband and nine kids (who sometimes double as product testers!). My products are available online through Designsbybabymoon.com as as a select assortment of designs in my Etsy shop (designsbybabymoon.etsy.com).

I’ve been sewing as long as I can remember, and it is no stretch to say that sewing is in my bones. Literally. When I was a child, my mother and my grandmothers were excellent seamstresses and let me create with them my whole life growing up. At some point in my life, while under their guidance, I must have slipped away and stepped on a needle…because some twenty years later an X-ray revealed one embedded deep in my foot! This caused a minor panic in the ER, but it was painless, and had been present for years so I opted not to have surgery. That needle remains with me even now as a very special connection to my craft.

Laser Bee Studio started from a love to create unique, handmade gifts using embroidery, vinyl and engraving. Our owners have been in the embroidery business for 20+ years. Machine embroidery gave us a great way to personalize items for customers. When the vinyl craze hit, we learned how to incorporate vinyl into our custom products. A few years back, we purchased a laser machine and expanded our products to include engravable items. After the need to find a way to organize our embroidery threads better, our exclusive thread drawer inserts were created. This opened the door for us to find more ways to create products to help sewing enthusiasts like us organize our sewing spaces better and more efficiently. We are so excited and humbled that our thread drawer inserts and project trays are helping so many customers!

This is Shanna and Andy and we are a little mom and pop shop in small town Nebraska.  GlitterBugFairy started in 2014 selling embroidery vinyl out of our tiny living room and has grown to all sorts of embroidery and crafting supplies.  It is still ran out of our home, but now it is a much larger home (and feels even bigger since 3 of our 5 kids have grown up and moved out on their own now, although the dogs seem to take almost as much time as the kids did!) and have so much to offer both small time and big time crafters, long timers and newbies, experienced and just getting your feet wet people.  We print our own custom vinyl with our specialty printer so we have endless possibilities of new vinyl!  With just the two of us (and the occasional kiddo that comes over to work when they realize they are out of money) we usually get packages out within the following business day, but can occasionally need 2 business days when we have sales or new prints.  We hope you enjoy your time spent on our website and facebook group and hope to see pictures of your fun crafting!

Machine embroidery is an artistic application of math and science. Being able to create something artistic and beautiful is something I did not think was possible.  Let me share something with you – I can’t draw. Sounds crazy, right?  Thanks to computer software with the Undo button, I can be artistic without having to rely on my “non-existent” drawing skills 🙂

A little about me. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. I am a two-time bone cancer survivor. My two biggest heroes in my life are my gram and my momma.

Back in 2018 I started teaching how to do all things Sublimation, where I became known as the Sass Master. During this time, I found a tribe of people who just like me wanted to know they were not alone. We would cheer on each other’s successes and help fix our mishaps.

The one thing I genuinely enjoy is watching other businesses grow. I love that my small business is helping other small businesses flourish.

Missitopia is more than a place, it is a way of creating fun times and memories.

Everyone has ups and downs in life and it was during some of these times that Missy and Gayle joined forces to create a place where friends could shop, be inspired, learn tips and techniques and make new friends.

Missy has been sewing and creating fun projects for more than 30 years. As a Baby Lock Educator for 18+ years, she has traveled coast to coast and on the high seas sharing her love and knowledge of Baby Lock machines. When she isn’t travelling and teaching in retailer stores, you can find her at her new home in Mississippi, aka Missitopia, on a cruise or on Facebook and YouTube sharing her love of all things sewing and sparkly with friends and consumers all over the country. She creates fun digitized embroidery designs, in-the-hoop projects and more. Her webpage is transitioning from missybstitchin.com to missitopia.com plus find her on Facebook in her group Stitchin & Sparklin Fun with Missy B where she does regular instructional videos on various topics from machine techniques, projects and more.

Gayle began her machine embroidery adventures with her Mom in 1996, hosted her first embroidery cruise in 2003 with a group of great teachers and has been involved in the sewing industry one way or another ever since. In 2018 she officially started GaylesNest.com that is transitioning to missitopia.com where she sells various types of vinyl for embroidery and sewing along with cork, must have sewing notions, zippers, hot fix crystals, snaps, hardware for bags and sew much more. She travels to a few in person shows each year and when she isn’t travelling, she is at home in Mississippi, aka Missitopia working her business and plotting and planning the next great adventure. Being a travel agent also comes in handy as she works to plan fun cruises with groups or individuals and cruises as often as she can.
