What Everything Embroidery Retreat is about
The Everything Embroidery Retreat is a three day educational event for the embroidery, heat transfer vinyl, and applique industry. The retreat will be a full learning event with shopping opportunities. The retreat is an exceptional opportunity for those wanting to get in the embroidery or vinyl industry and those that have purchased the equipment and would like to start a business with it. The retreat is geared towards learning to get the most out of your time and equipment. Come learn tricks of the trade and be inspired to take your business or hobby to the next level. The vendor area will have selections of inspiring tools, supplies, blanks, equipment, fabric, hoops and more. The three days will be packed with educational courses and scheduled times to shop. There will be equipment available for demo’s, make and take projects, and hands on use between sessions.

Tips and Tricks for time management and efficiency:
Learn how to be more productive and efficient by doing more in less time. Do you every feel like you spend more time in your software and loading designs than you do stitching? Do you wish you could figure out a way to stitch more items in a days time? We will show you ways to be more efficient and have better time management. Understanding how purchased Embroidery designs and appliques work:
Have you seen a design on the internet that you would love to sew but have no idea how to get it to your embroidery machine? Learn how to take a design and customize it in software, and send it to your machine. We will also cover ways to organize your files so they are easily accessible when you need them. Making your products unique:
A wide variety of embellishment ideas will be shared, including the use of Angelina fibers, fabric magic, chalkboard fabric, mesh fabric, foiling and glitter- just to name a few. There are also many tools of the trade such as Terial Magic, Bonash adhesive powder, and an iron shoe that will make completing your projects easy and fun! In this course you will learn about the features and properties of the different embroidery backing and stabilizers. See examples and uses on diferent materials. Designing with Rhinestones in Silhouette Studio
It’s time to explore the rhinestone panel in Silhouette Studio! In this session, Lisa Potts from The Rhinestone World will break the code of the rhinestone panel and show you how to get the most use of it. Attendees will be able to add rhinestones to existing designs, convert objects to rhinestones, and edit designs to get exactly what you want.

Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Maximize your designing potential with Silhouette Studio. This design class with combine vinyl, rhinestones, and multiple functions and methods to create stunning multi-decoration (multi-dec) for your business. All designs created in the class will be available for commercial use. Participants of the session will receive a written guide, copies of the files created, and a video recording of the design process. This class will assume users have a fluent understanding of the basic features of Silhouette Studio. Brand new users of the software are not recommended for this class.
