Customizing software can help you create unique embroidery designs WITHOUT having to digitize from scratch. This class will cover all sorts of customizing from lettering to merging designs, color sorting and even resizing. We’ll even explain why the “you should only resize by 20%” rule doesn’t apply 90% of the time!
How to digitize for 3D foam – understanding the concept of what happens at the machine to digitize “puffy” embroidery designs. We will also talk about tips to working with 3D foam to get professional results.
Sketch style embroidery designs have fewer stitches – everything is less dense, the design isn’t heavy, & exerts less distortion on the garment resulting in successful embroidery for even beginner digitizers. Create quicker stitching solutions to save you time and money. You can create movement and interest in how you digitize this style of embroidery design – even add mylar for sparkle
Are you interested in digitizing? Do you want to know what goes into creating your own designs from scratch to see if this is something you want to do? This class will show you what goes into creating well digitized designs from the ground up. Working with basic digitizing theory, we’ll talk about the 3 main stitch types that make up all designs. Terms such as underlay, density, and compensation will be explained with how they pertain to the whole digitizing plan and process. A digitizers goal should be to create designs with few jumps and trims and this is accomplished by planning (or mapping) your stitches. This will be a great primer for those interested in learning more about the whole embroidery design creation process.
