The purpose of embroidery customizing software is to help you get from the computer to the machine as quickly as possible so you can spend time with your hooping, stabilizing, choosing thread colors, making sure the design stitches where you want it to etc. Even if your machine has the ability to combine designs, resize them with stitch recalculation and sort colors – you are still limited by what you can do and how fast you can do it. Software is the solution and this class will show you how easy it is to customize embroidery designs using Embrilliance Essentials. From using BX fonts to create subway art style embroidery designs, to merging and sizing designs, changing colors, sorting colors and printing templates for accurate placement. This class will show you how to do all this and more – fast, easy, & fun.
A wide variety of embellishment ideas will be shared, including the use of Angelina fibers, Fabric Magic, Chalkboard Fabric, Mesh Fabric, Foiling and Glitter – just to name a few. There are also many tools of the trade such as Terial Magic, Bonash adhesive powder, and an Iron Shoe that will make completing your projects easy and fun! We will also share some tips and tricks for bag making which will not only make them look more professional, but also add some fun and unique touches.
A power point presentation as well as a class handout will help you remember what you learn in the class. There will be a variety of samples for everything discussed! This class is great for all skill levels, from the novice just starting out to the veteran seamstress. Users will leave this session with a better understanding of Silhouette Studio and ready to create fun designs. Designer Edition will be used for the class, but is not required.

In this class, we will explore tricky lighting conditions from dealing with direct sunlight, to shadows cast from your lighting set up, and how to light reflective surfaces such as glass and metal. This is a hands on computer class for Embrilliance StitchArtist software. We will go through the basics of the program using Level 1 functions. From opening images, creating objects by drawing and using the magic wand, assigning stitch types such as applique, fill and outline. We will add holes to objects such as those in embossed lettering designs using motif stitches and adding stippling around an existing embroidery design. Yes – think of creating your own quilted mug rugs from existing designs – YES in StitchArtist Level 1. There is so much to this program, and we will cover lots of tips and tricks to help you create designs quickly and easily.
